World Water Day 2024
On the occasion of World Water Day 2024, RUWDUC and NEEDS, supported by Oxfam in Nepal, in association with Bhimdutta Municipality and Parshuram Municipality, are organizing rafting in the Mahakali River as a tool for transboundary water cooperation from Khalla, Bhimdutta Municipality, Kanchanpur district, and Pashuram Dham, Parshuram Municipality, Dadeldhura district.
Participants representing rafting companies in Nepal and India, the community’s members from both countries, representatives from the Water Energy Commission Secretariat, the Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA), CSOs, and local governments are expected to attend the event.
