The members of Women Empowerment Centres emphasizing on equality and equity between male and female. The women members are also focusing on the need for women to be aware of their rights. Also, they highlighted more income generation activities for women to control gender based violence and domestic violence in the community. The local Government should also play an important role for addressing the issues of GBV and Domestic Violence. Ms. Maina Devi Mahar aged 48, member of Bhageswori Women Empowerment centre is happy to handover her role to youth for sustainability. The WECs have been continuously demanding for Women’s Multipurpose Building in the community. Ms. Sabitri Joshi aged 60, member of WEC focused on the need for an integrated approach from Local Government and CBOs in addressing the TBWG issues.
