Partner Investment Fund Project

Development Partner: Oxfam Nepal

Goal: To strengthen the organizational management system of partner organizations by improving transparency, accountability, learning, and overall institutional capacity.

Background: Partner Investment Fund (PIF), supported by Oxfam Nepal, strengthened RUWDUC’s institutional capacity through investments in digital transformation, organizational security, documentation systems, and staff development. The project enabled RUWDUC to adopt modern management practices, improve accountability and operational efficiency, strengthen community engagement, and foster collaboration with partner organizations. Through learning exchanges, capacity-building workshops, and practical institutional reforms, the project contributed to building a stronger, more sustainable, and resilient organization capable of delivering greater impact to communities.

Key Achievements:

  • Installed CCTV surveillance systems at RUWDUC offices in Kathmandu and Dadeldhura to improve office security and organizational management and protection.
  • Installed biometric attendance systems at Kathmandu and Dadeldhura offices, strengthening staff attendance management and accountability.
  • Introduced digital tools and systems to improve organizational management, monitoring, and record-keeping.
  • Conducted regular monitoring visits and community engagement activities to strengthen stakeholder relationships and program effectiveness.
  • Organized and completed the Annual General Meeting (AGM), promoting good governance and transparent decision-making.
  • Enhanced organizational documentation and reporting practices, improving accountability and institutional learning.
  • Participated in digital rights workshops, digital policy orientation programs, and fundraising trainings to strengthen staff capacity.
  • Facilitated learning and knowledge-sharing with partner organizations, encouraging the exchange of good practices and experiences.
  • Strengthened institutional systems and processes to support the long-term sustainability of the organization.
